Asamannoor Grama Panchayat

Asamannoor Grama Panchayat is a village panchayat located within the limits of Asamannoor Village, in the Koovappady Block of Kunnathunad Taluk, Ernakulam district. Covering an area of 21.27 square kilometers, the panchayat shares its borders with the Vengoor, Kottappady, Rayamangalam, and Mudakkuzha panchayats to the north; the Payipra, Rayamangalam, and Nellikuzhi panchayats to the south; the Rayamangalam panchayat to the west; and the Nellikuzhi and Kottappady panchayats to the east. The Panchayat was established in 1953 with six wards and seven members. Shri K. Kesava Pisharody served as its first president.
